Coming from old school Led lights to this my perspective. They mount very well to the bar and helmet. I am running them on low and it is enough for 35km/h in the trees. I am out every morning all year round. These are a perfect investment.

I do evening MTB group rides with friends. At the end of the summer, the sun starts to go down sooner. I usually go to the meeting point with the bike on a car bike rack and drive back in the dark after sunset. I wanted to stop using the car and ride back and forth.

I got the Outbound Lighting Detour Light to ride back after sunset on an eMTB that max out at 32 kph speed. The light works well. It's easy to mount and unmount (I keep it in a backpack during MTB rides). The ground and traffic signs light up enough in the dark.
